So much of what you write here captures the invisible weight new mothers carry. The way postpartum is treated as a deadline instead of a season of repair creates an ache most women don’t have language for.

What stays with me is how clearly you separate a woman’s healing from the pressure to perform recovery. This clarity feels like permission many mothers never receive. Naming the truth this boldly gives space for a different kind of compassion.
